Finally got round to cutting the dead flowers on the Amaryllis. Previously featured on Day 12 and Day 20 of this 365 Project. This one bulb has produced two stems containing four flowers each over a two month period. They have provided so much interest during a dreary time of year and have been good value for money!
It was another dull and miserable day today, so I didn’t go outside looking for a photograph. As always when you least expect to find a photo opportunity, I came across this beautiful sight in a car park! Luckily I had my compact camera with me – which just goes to shows a photographer should always carry a camera everywhere!
These cherry-sized crab apples really brightened up the gloom and was surprised the birds hadn’t eaten them.
